this approximately 8 foot long so called, “watercraft” held anywhere between 1 and 50 occupants when it left Cuba sometime in 1994. the unknown number of occupants who left cuba attempted to make it through the florida straights and by journey’s end only the “boat” was found. on the port side a plaque reads, cuban refugee raft found september 1994 occupants unknown.
