The leaning water tower of Texas.
98 year old route 66. This section is the only remaining original pavement. The road was built only 9 feet wide to accommodate the cars and horse drawn carriages during this time. This section ran from Miami, OK to Afton, OK.
Statue of Andy Payne along Route 66 in Oklahoma. He won the 3,400 mile transcontinental foot race from Los Angeles to NYC (approximately, 2400 miles were run on the newly built route 66) in 1928. He finished the race in approximately eleven weeks.

My New England summer is coming to an end. The past eleven weeks can be described in many ways, i have chosen the word; arresting.
