A hike through John Muir Woods. While you’re hiking here you feel as if you are in a fantasy like state. You feel inconsequential, irrelevant. These trees tower over you, some as tall as 25 story buildings Pic #2 sit at the bottom of these trees and if they get too much sunlight they shrink into themselves until the shade returns and they go back to full bloom. Pic # 6 is a sloth like creature protecting her young from the intruder ;) Pic #8 shows how the entire S.F. bay and beyond were covered in meringue looking stratus clouds (you can see the twin peaks tower on the right) So phucking cool.

Half Dome; El Capitan; upper and lower Yosemite falls; couple on edge on Taft point; view of El Cap and Yosemite valley from Taft point; life rope of vertical hiker ascending El Cap; i saw this sign after the fact; rescue rope in the event; Yosemite falls hike view; Another view from Taft point; 2 hikers on the way to climb (or vertical hike, you may choose either) El Cap). They are carrying enough provisions to eat sleep and drink for multiple days (keep in mind they sleep hanging over the valley, look up portaledge); last photo is the approximate launching point that Alex Hannold used to free solo El Cap (watch the documentary, it’s crazy good)

On bended knee marriage proposal that I stumbled upon when I reached the end of this trail. Cannot really think of a better setting to ask someone to spend the rest of their life with you.(Yosemite valley and El Capitan in background)
